What are some great to see exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum in New York (The Met)?
I would be interested in seeing things European paintings are of Asian American civil war Japanese antiques, objects, Chinese, Korean.
You should go to the Chinese scholar's garden (called the Astor Court.)'s Lovely. It is inside. You can take the elevator up to the Egyptian galleries. It allows you to exit directly in front of the Astor Court. The other galleries Asia are behind there. Also, check out the collection of Robert Lehman. They are separated from the other rooms of European painting, because they were donated by a man, and had to stay together. They are in the back of the museum, and contains some beautiful objects, especially since the last century 19.
